Vagho began playing duduk at the age of seven. He went on to attend music conservatory classes at Armenia’s prestigious Gomidas State Conservatory in Yervan, Armenia. His teacher was the highly respected Gevorg Dabaghyan. During his time at Gomidas State Conservatory, Vagho also studied zurna and clarinet.
Vagho’s style brings Eastern Armenian flavor into all of the band’s performances by adding the unique sounds of clarinet, duduk and zurna. Vagho’s talents are very difficult to come by and he is a unique artist in today’s market. He has performed with the biggest names in the Armenian music world and brings the music to a level where it can touch your soul and make you experience all emotions deeply.
